Categories     Fish     Bake     Quick & Easy

Yield 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 Cans Albacore Chunk White Tuna in Water
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 Can Milk
1 C. Shredded cheddar cheese
1 10 oz. Bag frozen Broccoli
1 can Buttermilk Biscuits

Steps:

  • Place the broccoli in the bottom of a glass 9 x 13 pan. Cook in microwave about 5 minutes on high. Drain tuna well and sprinkle chunks on top. Mix the milk with the soup and pour on top of the tuna & broccoli. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Then place the biscuits on top of everything. Bake according to biscuit directions.

Tips:

  • Choose fresh, high-quality ingredients: Use fresh broccoli florets, tuna, and other vegetables for the best flavor and texture.
  • Don't overcook the broccoli: Broccoli should be cooked until tender-crisp, not mushy. Overcooked broccoli will lose its vibrant green color and flavor.
  • Use a good quality tuna: Look for tuna that is packed in water or oil, and avoid tuna that is packed in brine. Brine can make the tuna taste salty and fishy.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different ingredients: You can add other vegetables to the casserole, such as carrots, celery, or mushrooms. You can also use different types of cheese, such as cheddar or Gruyère.
  • Make sure the casserole is bubbly before serving: This ensures that the casserole is heated through and cooked properly.

Conclusion:

Broccoli tuna casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is packed with protein, vegetables, and cheese, and it is sure to be a hit with the whole family.
