CHEESEBURGER BROCCOLI CHOWDER
I invented this soup accidentally! Actually, it came about when I was new to cooking, and didn't know that "chowder" was a kind of soup-so I made mashed potatoes to go with the dish I was making. We ended up dunking our mashed potatoes into the soup as "gravy"-and it was delicious!-Karen Davies, Wanipigow, Manitoba

Tips:
- For the Cheeseburger: Use a high-quality ground beef for the best flavor. You can use any type of cheese you like, but cheddar or American cheese are classic choices. Toast the buns before assembling the cheeseburgers for a crispy texture.
- For the Broccoli: Cut the broccoli into small florets for even cooking. Steam or roast the broccoli until tender-crisp. Season the broccoli with salt, pepper, and garlic powder for a simple, yet flavorful side dish.
- For the Sweet Potatoes: Choose firm and sweet potatoes for the best results. Scrub the potatoes clean before baking. Poke the potatoes with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking. Season the potatoes with chili powder, cumin, and paprika for a smoky and spicy flavor.
Conclusion:
These broccoli cheeseburgers with spicy sweet potatoes are a delicious and satisfying meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The cheeseburgers are juicy and flavorful, while the broccoli and sweet potatoes provide a healthy and colorful side dish. This meal is sure to be a hit with the whole family.
