Tips:

  • Use fresh broccoli: Fresh broccoli florets add a vibrant green color and a crisp-tender texture to the soup. If using frozen broccoli, thaw it completely before adding it to the soup.
  • Shred the cheese yourself: Pre-shredded cheese often contains additives and preservatives. Shredding your own cheese ensures that you get the freshest, highest-quality cheese in your soup.
  • Don't overcook the noodles: Overcooked noodles become mushy and lose their flavor. Cook the noodles according to the package directions, then remove them from the soup and set them aside until ready to serve.
  • Season to taste: Every palate is different, so taste the soup and adjust the seasonings accordingly. Add more salt, pepper, garlic powder, or onion powder until the soup reaches your desired flavor.
  • Serve with a side of crusty bread or crackers: A side of crusty bread or crackers is the perfect way to soak up all the delicious soup broth.

Conclusion:

Broccoli cheese noodle soup is a classic comfort food that is easy to make and loved by people of all ages. It is a great way to use up leftover broccoli and cheese, and it is also a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give this broccoli cheese noodle soup a try. You won't be disappointed!
