1/4 c olive oil, extra virgin
3 Tbsp wildflower honey
DRY INGREDIENTS
3 3/4 c bread flour
1 tsp kosher salt
2 Tbsp chopped garlic
1 c parmesan cheese
2 sprig(s) rosemary sprigs
1 small bundle of dill
4 leaflets of italian curled parlsey
1 small bundle of chives
a few leaves of aristotle basil
1 can(s) olives, hand cut, reserve water
1 Tbsp poppy seeds
LEAVENER
3 Tbsp yeast

Steps:

  • 1. Grease the bread machine loaf pan.
  • 2. Rinse, destem, and chop all herbs.
  • 3. Stratify the ingredients from the bottom up, wet, dry, then yeast.
  • 4. Set to French loaf, medium crust.

Tips

  • Use good quality ingredients, especially the olive oil and Parmesan cheese. This will make a big difference in the flavor of the bread.
  • Make sure the yeast is fresh and active. If you're not sure, you can test it by combining it with some warm water and sugar. If it bubbles and foams within a few minutes, it's good to use.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the bread tough and dense.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place until it's doubled in size. This will take about an hour.
  • Bake the bread at a high temperature for the first 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to finish baking. This will give the bread a crispy crust and a tender interior.

Conclusion

Olive Parmesan bread is a delicious and easy-to-make bread that's perfect for any occasion. Whether you're serving it at a party or enjoying it as a snack, this bread is sure to be a hit.
