BANANA OATMEAL BREAD - BREAD MACHINE

Banana Oatmeal Bread - Bread Machine image

This is a somewhat sweet bread that rises nice and high and has a moist texture. It makes great fluffernutter sandwiches (marshmallow fluff and peanut butter). Note: This recipe tends to be too wet, so add extra flour as necessary until the dough is no longer sticking to the sides of the machine.

Tips:

  • If you don't have a bread machine, you can make this bread in a regular loaf pan. Just follow the recipe instructions up to the point where you add the dough to the bread machine. Then, pour the dough into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • You can add other ingredients to this bread, such as nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips. Just be sure to add them after the initial mixing cycle is complete, so they don't get chopped up by the bread machine paddle.
  • If you want a crispier crust, brush the top of the bread with melted butter before baking.

This bread machine banana oatmeal bread is a delicious and easy-to-make treat. It's perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. And because it's made with whole wheat flour and oats, it's also a healthy choice. So next time you're looking for a tasty and nutritious bread, give this recipe a try.
