Time 1h5m

Yield 7 loaves

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 cups sugar
1 cup salad oil
4 eggs
1 -1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2/3 cup water
2 cups pumpkin pie filling
3 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together and beat until smooth.
  • (I put the mixture in a big bowl and then seperate into individual loaf tins) Bake at 350 for 45 to 55 minutes.
  • Makes about 7 loaves.

Tips:

  • Use fresh pumpkin purée. Fresh pumpkin purée will give your bread the best flavor. If you don't have time to make your own, you can use canned pumpkin purée, but make sure it's unsweetened.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will make your bread tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
  • Bake the bread at the right temperature. The ideal temperature for baking pumpkin bread is 350 degrees Fahrenheit. If you bake the bread at a higher temperature, it will brown too quickly and the inside will be raw.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing it. Slicing the bread while it's still warm will make it crumble. Let the bread cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.

Conclusion:

Pumpkin bread is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that's perfect for fall. With its warm spices and moist texture, pumpkin bread is a surefire hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a sweet snack or a festive treat, give pumpkin bread a try. You won't be disappointed.
