A very easy pasta dish for busy evenings. I like it served with crusty bread (to dip in the sauce) and a tossed salad. I have even doubled the recipe and served it to guest on a casual evening.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the dish will taste. Choose fresh, flavorful tomatoes, sweet Italian sausage, and a creamy, rich pasta sauce.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the sausage, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the sausage from cooking evenly and will make it more likely to stick to the pan.
  • Cook the sausage until it is browned: Cook the sausage over medium heat until it is browned on all sides. This will help to develop the flavor of the sausage.
  • Use a good quality pasta sauce: Choose a pasta sauce that is made with fresh, flavorful ingredients. A good quality pasta sauce will make a big difference in the taste of the dish.
  • Add the pasta to the sauce: Once the sauce is simmering, add the pasta and cook according to the package directions. Stir the pasta occasionally to prevent it from sticking together.
