Time 1h30m

Yield 8 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 lbs red potatoes, unpeeled
salt and pepper
1 pint heavy cream
1 (5 ounce) package boursin cheese
fresh chives or parsley, chopped

Steps:

  • Slice potatoes into quarter inch rounds and toss with salt and pepper.
  • Slowly heat cream and cheese together until thoroughly melted.
  • In a deep casserole dish layer half the potatoes.
  • Cover with half the cream mixture.
  • Repeat.
  • Cover and bake at 350°F for one hour.
  • Sprinkle top with chives or parsley.

Tips for Making Boursin Cheese Potatoes:

  • Use a variety of potatoes for different textures and flavors. For example, Yukon Gold potatoes are creamy and buttery, while russet potatoes are firm and starchy.
  • Cut the potatoes into even-sized pieces so that they cook evenly.
  • Be careful not to overcrowd the pan when frying the potatoes. If the pan is too crowded, the potatoes will steam instead of fry and will not be as crispy.
  • Season the potatoes generously with salt and pepper. You can also add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika.
  • Top the potatoes with Boursin cheese and additional toppings of your choice, such as crumbled bacon, chopped chives, or sour cream.
  • Conclusion:

Boursin cheese potatoes are a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. The tips provided in this article will help you make the best Boursin cheese potatoes possible.
