Tips:

  • Choose the right bok choy: Look for bok choy that is fresh, crisp, and has bright green leaves.
  • Prepare the bok choy properly: Trim the root end of the bok choy and separate the leaves from the stem. Cut the leaves into 1-inch pieces and the stem into thin slices.
  • Use a variety of cheeses: Gruyère, Parmesan, and fontina are all great choices for this dish. You can also use a combination of cheeses to create your own unique flavor profile.
  • Don't overcook the bok choy: Bok choy should be cooked until it is just tender. Overcooked bok choy will become mushy and lose its flavor.
  • Serve the bok choy au gratin immediately: This dish is best served hot and fresh out of the oven.

Conclusion:

Bok choy au gratin is a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to get your daily dose of vegetables and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So next time you are looking for a new and exciting way to prepare bok choy, give this recipe a try!
