Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
  • Make sure your butter is cold and cubed before adding it to the flour mixture. This will help create a flaky biscuit.
  • Don't overwork the dough. Overworking will make the biscuits tough.
  • Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch. If the dough is too thick, the biscuits will be dense.
  • Cut the biscuits out with a sharp knife or biscuit cutter. Dull knives will tear the dough and make the biscuits less flaky.
  • Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This will help prevent them from sticking to the pan.
  • Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Conclusion:

These Cheddar and Chive Biscuits are a delicious and easy-to-make copycat recipe from the BLT Restaurant. They are perfect for any occasion, from a casual breakfast or brunch to a holiday dinner. Serve them warm with your favorite soup or stew, or enjoy them on their own with a cup of coffee or tea.
