A very tasty sandwich recipe. My mother learned this from a friend, and it has become a favorite lunch to impress guests with.

8 slices pumpernickel bread
8 ounces sliced smoked turkey breast
8 slices bacon
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
lettuce (optional)
tomatoes (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Arrange almonds on a cookie sheet and toast for 5 minutes.
  • Mix mayonnaise and ketchup together.
  • Toast Pumpernickel bread.
  • Spread mayonnaise mixture on the toasted bread.
  • Layer turkey& bacon.
  • Top with toasted almonds.
  • Optional: Lettuce and Tomato can also be added.

  • 1. If desired, spread optional butter or mayonnaise on bread. Spread with caviar. Top with second slice of bread. Enjoy!

2 (12 inch) hoagie rolls (or the bread of your choice)
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 ounces prepared Russian salad dressing
4 slices provolone cheese
6 slices deli roast beef
6 slices deli corned beef
4 slices tomatoes

Steps:

  • Cut rolls open.
  • Brush outside of rolls with olive oil.
  • Brush both sides of inside of rolls with russian dressing.
  • Cut cheese in half, add 4 halves to each roll.
  • Add 3 slices roast beef, 3 slices corned beef and 2 slices tomato to each roll.
  • Cut in half.
  • Heat in your panini press or george foreman grill.
