Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you prep all your ingredients and have your sauce ready. This will help you cook efficiently and avoid scrambling to find ingredients while you're cooking.
  • Slice Against the Grain: When slicing the chicken, cut against the grain to ensure tender results.
  • Use a Wok: If you have one, use a wok for stir-frying. Its shape allows for even heat distribution and prevents the food from sticking.
  • High Heat: Stir-fries require high heat to quickly cook the ingredients and maintain their vibrant colors.
  • Don't Overcrowd the Pan: Avoid overcrowding the pan with ingredients. This will prevent them from cooking evenly and becoming soggy.
  • Add Sauce in Stages: Add the sauce in stages, allowing each addition to coat the ingredients before adding more. This helps prevent the sauce from becoming watery.
  • Garnish Before Serving: Just before serving, garnish the dish with fresh herbs like cilantro or green onions for an extra burst of flavor and color.
