BISCUIT BITES
I received this recipe from my daughter. This is a favorite of her family. She made them for her women's group and they loved them. It's really good when you just want a small portion of bread.

Steps:
- 1. Melt butter in one bowl. Mix cheese, onion, parsley, onion & garlic powder in another bowl. If you are using regular size biscuits, cut into desired size, I cut them in 1/2. If they are grands or bigger biscuits, you may want to cut into 1/4's. Prepare a baking sheet by placing parchment paper on it. After cutting biscuit into desired sized, dip into butter, then into cheese mixture. Place on parchment paper. Continue until all biscuits are coated. Let set 25 minutes on baking sheet. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook until done & lightly browned, depending on your oven.
Tips:
- Make sure your butter is very cold before you start. This will help the biscuits be flaky.
- Use a sharp knife or pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour. This will help prevent the butter from smearing and making the biscuits tough.
- Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the biscuits tough.
- Roll the dough out to a thickness of about 1/2 inch. If the dough is too thick, the biscuits will be dense and doughy.
- Cut the biscuits out with a biscuit cutter or a sharp knife. Make sure the biscuits are close together so that they rise evenly.
- Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven. This will help them rise quickly and evenly.
Conclusion:
Biscuit bites are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or appetizer. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or just a quick bite to eat. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a batch of biscuit bites that will be sure to please everyone. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy snack, give biscuit bites a try.
