Number Of Ingredients 8

1/3 cup steak sauce (A1)
3 1/2 lbs ground beef
5 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons dried thyme
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
4 eggs
3 tablespoons steak seasoning (Montreal)
1 cup breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • In large bowl, mix steak sauce, ground beef, garlic, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, and steak seasoning until well blended. Then, add bread crumbs and mix until incorporated.
  • Place in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish and shape into a loaf. Add water to pan to come up to 1/4-inch of the meat loaf.
  • Bake for 50 minutes or until done.

Tips:

  • Choose the right ground beef: Use a mixture of ground chuck and ground sirloin for a moist and flavorful meatloaf.
  • Don't overmix the meatloaf: Overmixing can make the meatloaf tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
  • Use fresh bread crumbs: Fresh bread crumbs will help to keep the meatloaf moist. Avoid using dry bread crumbs, as they can make the meatloaf dry and crumbly.
  • Add some vegetables to the meatloaf: Adding vegetables to the meatloaf is a great way to sneak in some extra nutrients. Try adding chopped onions, carrots, or celery.
  • Don't overcook the meatloaf: Overcooking the meatloaf can make it dry and tough. Cook the meatloaf until it reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the meatloaf rest before slicing: Letting the meatloaf rest before slicing will help to keep the juices in the meatloaf. Let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
