SANDWICH SAUCE
1 1/4 cup mayo
3/4 cup Miracle Whip
1 tablespoon dry minced onion, crushed
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
4 teaspoon finely chopped dill pickle
2 tablespoon dill pickle juice
1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon sugar
SANDWICH
3/4 cup Virginia baked ham
1/2 cup swiss cheese
1 (6 to 8-inch) hoagie or sub-style sandwich roll
Shredded lettuce
4 tomato slices, thin

Steps:

  • Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium or high heat. Butter the inside of the sandwich roll, both top and bottom, and lightly brown on the griddle. Remove bread from griddle. On the bottom of the sandwich roll arrange in order ham, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Spread the top of the roll with sandwich sauce and place on top of the assembled sandwich. Place sandwich on griddle (bottom down) and weight with a heavy metal pan lid. Grill sandwich until the cheese melts. 1 unsliced round loaf of bread (8 inches)
2 tablespoons horseradish
1/2 pound thinly sliced cooked roast beef
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1/2 pound thinly sliced fully cooked ham or turkey
4 slices Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 small tomato, thinly sliced
6 bacon strips, cooked
4 slices American cheese
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon onion salt

Steps:

  • Slice bread horizontally into 5 equal layers. Spread bottom layer with horseradish; top with roast beef. Place the next slice of bread over beef; spread with mustard and top with ham or turkey and Swiss cheese. Add the next slice of bread; spread with mayonnaise and top with tomato and bacon. 1 (1 pound) loaf French bread
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
½ pound thinly sliced roast beef
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
½ pound thinly sliced cooked ham
5 slices Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
½ pound thinly sliced cooked turkey
5 slices processed American cheese
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 tomato, thinly sliced
¼ cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Slice the loaf of French bread HORIZONTALLY into 5 equal layers. Spread bottom layer with horseradish, top with roast beef. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt, plus more for seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper, plus more for seasoning
12 egg yolks
Juice of 6 lemons
Two 2-ounce tins whole anchovy fillets
2 cups extra-virgin olive oil
One 6-pound turkey breast
Oil, for frying
6 russet potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch strings
48 slices bread
2 pounds 4 ounces Parmesan, shredded
72 leaves romaine lettuce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
  • For the caesar dressing: Combine the garlic, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, egg yolks, lemon juice and anchovies in a food processor and puree. While pureeing, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until completely emulsified. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
  • Slow roast the turkey breast until it reaches an internal temperature of 155 degrees F. Meanwhile, preheat the grill.
  • Cool the turkey in the refrigerator, and then slice. Grill the turkey and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a deep pot to 325 degrees F. Blanch the potatoes in the oil until three-quarters of the way cooked. Let cool. Heat the oil to 350 degrees F. Flash-fry the potatoes until fully cooked.
