Tips:

  • Activate the yeast properly: Use warm water (105-115°F) to activate the yeast. Make sure the water is not too hot, as it can kill the yeast. Let the yeast mixture sit for 5-10 minutes, until it becomes foamy and bubbly.
  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will give your dinner rolls the best flavor. Make sure your yeast is active, your milk is fresh, and your butter is unsalted.
  • Knead the dough properly: Kneading the dough develops the gluten, which gives the dinner rolls their chewy texture. Knead the dough for at least 5 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place: The dough needs to rise in a warm place in order to double in size. You can place the dough in a warm oven (turned off) or in a sunny spot in your kitchen.
  • Bake the dinner rolls until they are golden brown: The dinner rolls are done baking when they are golden brown on top. Insert a toothpick into the center of a roll; it should come out clean.

Conclusion:

These big batch dinner rolls are perfect for any occasion. They are soft, fluffy, and delicious, and they can be served with a variety of meals. Whether you are making them for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, these dinner rolls are sure to be a hit.
