1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

Tips:

  • Choose the right apples: For a crisp and refreshing slaw, use firm apples that hold their shape well, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
  • Use a sharp knife or mandoline: This will help you create thin, even slices of apple that will cook evenly.
  • Don't overcook the bacon: Cook the bacon until it is crispy, but not burnt. Overcooked bacon will make the slaw tough.
  • Make the dressing ahead of time: This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Chill the slaw before serving: This will help the flavors to set and the slaw to become more crisp.

Conclusion:

Big Apple Slaw with Honey Mustard is a delicious and refreshing side dish that is perfect for any potluck or barbecue. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With its sweet, tangy, and crunchy flavors, this slaw is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
