Tips:

  • Fresh Ingredients: Use the freshest mushrooms and spinach you can find for the best flavor and texture.
  • Clean Mushrooms Properly: Gently wipe the mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt or debris. Avoid rinsing them under water, as this can make them soggy.
  • Slice Mushrooms Evenly: Slice the mushrooms evenly so that they cook evenly. This will also help them absorb the dressing better.
  • Use Good Quality Olive Oil: Choose a good quality extra virgin olive oil for the dressing. This will give the salad a rich, flavorful taste.
  • Don't Overdress the Salad: Use just enough dressing to coat the salad lightly. Overdressing can make the salad soggy and oily.
  • Serve Immediately: Serve the salad immediately after assembling to prevent the spinach from wilting.
