Time 5m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup coffee, strong
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 teaspoons horseradish
2 teaspoons cajun seasoning

Steps:

  • Mix marinade in a zip loc bag, and place 4 pork chops in the bag.
  • Marinade for at least 2 hours, I sometimes even marinade them overnight for more flavor.

Tips:

  • Choose the right pork chops: Look for bone-in pork chops that are at least 1 inch thick. This will help them stay juicy during cooking.
  • Make the marinade ahead of time: The longer you marinate the pork chops, the more flavorful they will be. You can marinate them for up to 24 hours, but even a few hours will make a difference.
  • Use a variety of spices and herbs: Don't be afraid to experiment with different spices and herbs in your marinade. Some popular choices include garlic, onion, paprika, cumin, oregano, and thyme.
  • Add some acidity: A little bit of acidity will help to tenderize the pork chops and balance out the flavors. You can add this with lemon juice, vinegar, or yogurt.
  • Don't overcook the pork chops: Pork chops are best when they are cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Overcooking will make them dry and tough.

Conclusion:

Pork chops are a versatile and delicious cut of meat that can be cooked in a variety of ways. Marinating them overnight in a flavorful marinade is a great way to add extra flavor and tenderness. With a little planning, you can easily create a delicious and satisfying meal that the whole family will enjoy.
