BEST EVER CASHEW CHEESE SAUCE
This is a versatile cashew cheese sauce that's totally plant-based. I use it as a pasta sauce, as a pizza topping, over roasted veggies, on tacos and for grilled cheese. It doesn't reheat well, so I don't suggest making a double batch to use throughout the week. -Max Gregor, Santa Fe, New Mexico

BEST VEGAN NACHO CHEESE SAUCE
Our family loves this vegan cheese sauce. We're not usually that excited with fake cheeses, but this one has been the exception. Tastes great over nacho chips, baked potatoes, in vegetarian tacos, etc. This recipe has helped us enjoy more vegan meals in our home. We got this recipe from our friend Connie Yroc after she shared this wonderful cheese sauce with nachos with our family one day. After almost losing the recipe last week I realized I must post it right away, because we make it so frequently! Hope you enjoy it. Thanks Connie!

Super easy and delicious. Recipe courtesy of www.aspicyperspective.com. I doubled the recipe, and I added quite a few more jalapenos, but I'll post it as written.

Tips:
- Use a good quality cheese. The better the cheese, the better the sauce will be. Look for cheeses that are flavorful and have a smooth, creamy texture.
- Grate your own cheese. Pre-shredded cheese contains additives that can prevent it from melting smoothly. Grating your own cheese will give you a much better result.
- Use a heavy-bottomed saucepan. This will help to prevent the sauce from scorching.
- Cook the sauce over low heat. This will help to prevent the cheese from curdling.
- Stir the sauce constantly. This will help to prevent the cheese from sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.
- Season the sauce to taste. You may want to add salt, pepper, garlic powder, or onion powder.
- Serve the sauce immediately. Cheese sauce is best when it is served hot.
Conclusion:
Cheese sauce is a versatile sauce that can be used in a variety of dishes. It is perfect for macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, nachos, and vegetables. With a few simple tips, you can make a delicious cheese sauce that your family and friends will love.
