Number Of Ingredients 8

6 ounces warm water (3/4 cup)
3 teaspoons dry skim milk powder
2 tablespoons olive oil (or use vegetable oil)
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic (can use more garlic)
2 cups bread flour

  • Check the dough after about 4-5 minutes of kneading to see is more water or flour is needed to create a soft semi-sticky dough.
  • When the machine signals the end of the cycle, remove the dough and knead gently into a tight ball on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cover and let rest for 20 minutes (or at this point you can refrigerate for up to 24 hours or freeze).
  • Stretch into desired size for your pizza pan.

Tips:

  • Use the right ingredients: Make sure to use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best results. Using bread flour with a high protein content will help create a strong, chewy dough.
  • Follow the recipe carefully: Each bread machine model has different settings and cycles, so it's important to follow the recipe specifically for your machine. Measure the ingredients accurately and be patient while the dough rises and cooks.
  • Don't overcrowd the bread machine: Make sure to leave enough space in the bread machine for the dough to rise properly. If the dough is too crowded, it won't be able to rise evenly and will result in a dense, heavy loaf.
  • Check the dough before baking: Before you start the baking cycle, check the dough to make sure it has risen properly. If the dough hasn't risen enough, it may need more time. If the dough has risen too much, it may need to be punched down and kneaded again.
  • Brush the dough with oil: Before baking, brush the top of the dough with olive oil or melted butter. This will help create a golden brown crust.
  • Let the bread cool before slicing: Once the bread is baked, let it cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. This will help the bread retain its moisture and flavor.

Conclusion:

Using a bread machine to make pizza dough is a convenient and easy way to enjoy delicious homemade pizza. By following these tips, you can create a perfect pizza dough every time. Experiment with different toppings and ingredients to create your favorite pizza combinations. With a little practice, you'll be a pro at making bread machine pizza dough in no time!
