Tips:

  • Use fresh or frozen berries: Fresh berries are ideal, but frozen berries can also be used. If using frozen berries, thaw them completely before using.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the squares tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the squares until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: Overbaking the squares will make them dry.
  • Let the squares cool completely before cutting them: This will help prevent them from falling apart.
  • Dust the squares with powdered sugar before serving: This will add a touch of sweetness and elegance.

Conclusion:

This classic berry squares recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. Simply follow the tips above to ensure that your squares turn out perfect every time. Enjoy!
