Tips:
- For the perfect angel delight, ensure the jelly is set before adding the evaporated milk and whipped cream. This will prevent the mixture from becoming too runny.
- Use fresh berries for the best flavor. If using frozen berries, thaw them completely before using.
- If you don't have self-raising flour, you can make your own by adding 2 teaspoons of baking powder to every 100g of plain flour.
- To make the angel delight even more special, try using different flavors of jelly and fruit. Some popular combinations include lemon jelly with raspberries, orange jelly with segments, and blackcurrant jelly with blueberries.
- Angel delight can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours. This makes it a great dessert for busy weeknights or parties.
