1/2 cup fresh or frozen (thawed and drained) blueberries

Tips:

  • For crispy waffles, use a well-seasoned waffle iron and preheat it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Use good-quality ingredients, including fresh berries, real butter, and pure vanilla extract.
  • Don't overmix the batter; a few lumps are fine.
  • Let the batter rest for a few minutes before cooking to allow the gluten to relax, which will result in lighter, fluffier waffles.
  • Cook the waffles according to the manufacturer's instructions, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve the waffles immediately with your favorite toppings, such as butter, syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream.

Conclusion:

Belgian waffles are a delicious and versatile breakfast or brunch dish that can be enjoyed with a variety of toppings. They are relatively easy to make, and with a little practice, you can create perfect waffles every time. So next time you're looking for a special breakfast treat, give Belgian waffles a try.
