1/3 cup roasted, salted Marcona almonds, toasted

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Wrap the beets individually in aluminum foil and place them on a sheet pan. 2 -3 teaspoons sugar
1 large lemon, juice of
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon sweet paprika
3 -4 tablespoons parsley
2 teaspoons water
salt, to taste
1 tablespoon Grand Marnier

Steps:

  • Scrub beets well but be careful to not damage the skin. Trim off the long root of the beet and leave about a 1/2 inch stem on the tops.
