Tips:
- Choose the right beer. Use a light or golden ale for a mild flavor, or a darker beer like a stout or porter for a richer flavor.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in tough muffins.
- Bake the muffins until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes.
- Serve the muffins warm or at room temperature. They are best when fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
