1 lb lean ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can(s) (28 ounces) baked beans, undrained
1/2 c bbq sauce
1/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c catsup
salt and pepper to taste
1 can(s) refrigerated biscuits, (6 biscuits)
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Brown beef, garlic, and onion is a skillet until all pink is gone and onions are tender. Drain. Add beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, catsup, and salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-6 minutes or until hot through-out.
  • 2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pour meat mixture into a 7 by 11 inch casserole. Separate biscuits and slice them in half, making 2 thinner circles of each biscuit.
