Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: For this recipe, a flank steak or skirt steak works well. These cuts are relatively thin and cook quickly, making them ideal for a stir-fry.
  • Tenderize the beef: To make the beef more tender, you can marinate it in a mixture of soy sauce, rice wine, and cornstarch for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Use a hot pan: When cooking the beef, make sure your pan is hot enough to sear the meat. This will help to lock in the juices and prevent the beef from becoming tough.
  • Cook the beef in batches: If you're cooking a large amount of beef, cook it in batches so that the pan doesn't get overcrowded. This will help to ensure that the beef cooks evenly.
  • Don't overcook the beef: Beef is best cooked to a medium-rare or medium doneness. Overcooking will make it tough and chewy.
  • Add the vegetables at the end: The vegetables in this recipe cook quickly, so add them to the pan just before the beef is finished cooking. This will help to prevent them from becoming overcooked.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it is cooked. The beef and vegetables will be at their best when they are hot and fresh.

Conclusion:

This beef with tomato and green peppers is a quick and easy dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The beef is tender and flavorful, and the vegetables are crisp and colorful. Serve this dish with rice or noodles, and you have a complete and satisfying meal.
