BEEF - SKILLET BEEF SUPREME RECIPE

Beef - Skillet Beef Supreme Recipe image

Provided by Pascento96

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 lb lean beef cut into strips
1 onion (sliced)
1 green pepper (sliced)
1 cup celery
1 cup cut green beans
4 oz sliced mushrooms
8 t cornstarch
2 T soy sauce
1 1/2 cup water

Steps:

  • Brown beef in 2 T of oil. Add in onion, green pepper, celery, green beans and mushrooms. Cook until beans are tender. Dissolve cornstarch in soy sauce and water. Add to skillet and cook for about 10 minutes. Garnish with pimiento. Serve over rice or noodles.

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality beef for the best flavor and texture. Look for beef that is well-marbled and has a deep red color.
  • Trim any excess fat from the beef before cooking. This will help to prevent the beef from becoming greasy or tough.
  • Season the beef liberally with salt and pepper before cooking. This will help to enhance the flavor of the beef.
  • Cook the beef over medium heat until it is cooked to your desired doneness. For a medium-rare steak, cook for 4-5 minutes per side. For a medium steak, cook for 5-6 minutes per side. For a well-done steak, cook for 7-8 minutes per side.
  • Let the beef rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the beef, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
  • Serve the beef with your favorite sides, such as roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables, or a simple salad.

Conclusion:

Beef Supreme is a classic dish that is sure to impress your guests. The combination of tender beef, savory sauce, and crispy onions is simply irresistible.
