GRANDMA'S GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE
As the title suggests, this was my Grandmother's recipe. I've tweaked the amount of cheese and sour cream depending on what I've got in the fridge and it always turns out great! My mother has suggested this was made up as a way to use up ingredients in the fridge.

Tips:
- Choose the right noodles: Use egg noodles or ramen noodles for a classic beef noodle casserole. For a healthier option, use whole wheat noodles or shirataki noodles.
- Cook the noodles al dente: This means cooking them until they are just tender but still have a slight bite to them. Overcooked noodles will become mushy in the casserole.
- Use a flavorful broth: The broth is the base of the casserole, so make sure it is flavorful. Use a good quality beef broth or stock, or make your own using beef bones, vegetables, and herbs.
- Add plenty of vegetables: Vegetables add flavor, nutrients, and texture to the casserole. Use a variety of vegetables, such as carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms, and peas.
- Use a good quality cheese: The cheese is another important ingredient in the casserole. Use a sharp cheddar cheese or a combination of cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Don't overcook the casserole: The casserole is done when the noodles are heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Overcooking the casserole will make the noodles mushy and the cheese tough.
Conclusion:
Beef noodle casserole is a classic comfort food dish that is easy to make and always a hit with the family. With its simple ingredients and flavorful broth, this casserole is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give beef noodle casserole a try!
