½ onion, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can spaghetti sauce
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 tablespoon salted butter, melted
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Cook and stir ground beef and onion in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. 1/2 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup sour cream (fat free if desired)
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon flour, with pepper added to taste
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 cup frozen peas
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Steps:

  • Brown beef and onion in frypan and drain off fat.
  • Add all ingredients except crescent rolls.
