Tips:

  • Use high-quality beef: Opt for flank steak, sirloin steak, or ribeye steak for the best flavor and texture.
  • Slice the beef against the grain: This will help tenderize the meat and make it more enjoyable to eat.
  • Marinate the beef: Marinating the beef in a mixture of soy sauce, rice wine, sesame oil, and garlic powder for at least 30 minutes will add flavor and moisture.
  • Cook the beef in a hot skillet: This will help sear the meat and lock in the juices.
  • Do not overcrowd the skillet: Cooking the beef in batches will prevent it from steaming and becoming tough.
  • Stir-fry the vegetables until they are tender-crisp: Overcooking the vegetables will make them mushy.
  • Add the sauce at the end: This will help prevent the sauce from burning.
  • Serve over rice: Beef and broccoli is a classic dish that is often served over rice.
