1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup uncooked wild rice, rinsed
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed chicken noodle soup, undiluted
2 soup cans water

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender; drain. Place in a 3-qt. casserole. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and bake at 375° for 1 hour and 20 minutes, stirring often.

3 cups chicken broth
¾ cup uncooked wild rice
1 ¼ cups uncooked brown rice
2 bay leaves
½ cup butter
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pound ground beef
2 (4 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (4 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon curry powder
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a medium pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil, and mix in the wild rice, brown rice, and bay leaves. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 45 minutes, until most of the broth has been absorbed.
  • In a skillet, melt the butter, and saute onion until tender. Stir in the ground beef, and cook until evenly brown. Mix in the mushrooms, water chestnuts, soy sauce, and curry powder, and continue to cook and stir until heated through.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix the beef mixture into the rice mixture, and remove the bay leaf. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until bubbly and lightly browned.

1 can (10.75 oz) condensed tomato soup
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.
  • In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.

1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup quick-cooking wild rice
1 cup water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup water
2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing cubes

Steps:

  • Cook ground beef and drain.
