- Brown and drain meat and onions. Drain pineapple juice and combine with mustard, worcestershire, brown sugar, ketchup in skillet. Boil until thick. Mix beans, meat and onions, pineapple and sauce together in large pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. 1/2 batch will fit into a 9x13 baking dish. NOTE: drain all or some of the liquid from the beans depending on how thick you want the end product to be. If you do not drain at all they will be rather soupy.

Tips:
- Use good quality beef for the best flavor. Chuck roast or brisket are good choices.
- Brown the beef in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. This will help to develop the flavor of the meat.
- Add the baked beans, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and water to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Serve the beef and baked beans over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.
- For a thicker stew, add a cornstarch slurry to the pot towards the end of cooking. A cornstarch slurry is made by mixing equal parts cornstarch and water.
- For a more flavorful stew, use a variety of beans, such as black beans, pinto beans, or kidney beans, in addition to the baked beans.
- Garnish the stew with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.
