1/2 cup A.1. Original Sauce
1/4 cup dry sherry
2 tablespoons honey
1 lb sirloin steak, 1-inch cubes
14 slices bacon, halved crosswise
1 large onion, cut into wedges
1 large bell pepper, cut into squares
12 small mushroom caps

Steps:

  • In small bowl, blend steak sauce, sherry and honey.
  • Place beef cubes in nonmetal dish; coat with 1/4 cup steak sauce mixture.
  • Cover; chill 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove beef cubes from marinade.
  • Wrap half bacon slice around each cube.

3/4 cup ketchup
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (16 ounce) can lima beans, rinsed and drained (I sometimes substitute butter beans)
1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans

1-1/2 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 24 pieces
1 each green and red peppers, cut into 1-1/2-inch chunks
1 onion, cut into 6 wedges
12 mushroom caps
1/2 cup A.1. Original Sauce
1/4 cup dry sherry
2 Tbsp. honey

Steps:

  • Wrap bacon pieces around beef cubes. Thread beef cubes onto 6 skewers, securing bacon ends with skewer. Thread vegetables onto 6 separate skewers. Place in shallow dish.
  • Mix remaining ingredients. Reserve half the A.1. mixture for later use. Pour remaining A.1. mixture over kabobs, turning to coat. Refrigerate 2 hours to marinate.

1 bottle (8 ounces) French or Russian salad dressing
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 pound beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes
8 to 10 bacon strips, cut in half
1 sweet red pepper, cut into chunks
