PERFECT ROOT BEER BBQ SAUCE
BBQ Sauce from USA Sunday paper by Guy Fieri. Used on Country Style ribs that I used his "Guy's Righteous Ribs" recipe. I actually cooked the ribs after putting the rub on them in the crock pot and drained the liquid off and applied the BBQ sauce and let cook on low an additional 30 min. So good. Prep and cooking time does not include cool down of root beer.

Steps:
- Begin by reducing the root beer in a saucepan over high heat until liquid is 1/4 of its original volumn, 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool, then combine all of the ingredients in the saucepan. Gradually bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and gently simmer the sauce until thick and richly flavored, 10 to 15 minutes.
Tips:
- Choose the right ribs. Baby back ribs are the most popular choice for BBQ ribs, but you can also use spare ribs or St. Louis-style ribs. Baby back ribs are smaller and more tender, while spare ribs and St. Louis-style ribs are larger and have more meat.
- Prepare the ribs. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim off any excess fat. You can also cut the ribs into individual portions.
- Make the BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce is the key to great ribs. This recipe uses a combination of root beer, ketchup, brown sugar, and spices. You can also use your favorite BBQ sauce or experiment with different flavors.
- Cook the ribs. There are two ways to cook the ribs: in the oven or on the grill. If you are cooking the ribs in the oven, preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the ribs on a baking sheet and cook for 2-3 hours, or until the ribs are tender. If you are cooking the ribs on the grill, preheat the grill to medium heat. Cook the ribs for 1-2 hours, or until the ribs are tender. You can also cook the ribs in a slow cooker. Place the ribs in the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
- Serve the ribs. Serve the ribs with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or baked beans.
Conclusion:
These BBQ ribs with root beer BBQ sauce are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and the BBQ sauce is sweet, tangy, and smoky. Whether you are cooking for a party or just for your family, these ribs are sure to be a hit.
