country ribs, beef or pork or both to fill crock pot
1 jar(s) tomato sauce, like prego
1 bottle bbq sauce, any kind
1 lb brown sugar
1 can(s) (7 oz) mushroom pieces and stems -- optinal

Steps:

  • 1. Fill the bottom of your Crock Pot with country style pork or beef ribs
  • 2. Add tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and mushrooms (optional).

3 cloves garlic, minced
2/3 cup good barbecue sauce
1/3 cup plum jam (amount to taste)

Steps:

3 to 4 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
1 large onion (halved and thinly sliced)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 cup apple juice (or apple cider)
1 (16-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce (or about 1 1/2 cups homemade bbq sauce )

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Using the canola oil, lightly grease the crockery insert of a 5 to 6-quart slow cooker .
  • Trim and discard any excess fat from the ribs and pat dry with paper towels.

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/3 cup brown sugar

0.75 (16 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce

  • Combine rub ingredients mixing well.
