Tips:

  • Use a variety of ground turkey. Ground turkey breast is leaner and has a milder flavor, while ground turkey thigh is fattier and has a richer flavor. Using a combination of the two will give your meatballs the best of both worlds.
  • Add plenty of seasonings. Turkey has a mild flavor, so it's important to season the meatballs well. Use a variety of herbs, spices, and vegetables to create a flavorful meatball.
  • Don't overmix the meatball mixture. Overmixing will make the meatballs tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
  • Cook the meatballs thoroughly. Turkey meatballs should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. You can cook them in the oven, in a skillet, or in a slow cooker.
  • Serve the meatballs with your favorite sauce. Turkey meatballs are delicious with a variety of sauces, such as tomato sauce, marinara sauce, or gravy. You can also serve them with a side of mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.

Conclusion:

Turkey meatballs are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. They are a great way to use up leftover turkey, and they can also be made with fresh ground turkey. Turkey meatballs are a healthy and affordable meal that is sure to please everyone at the table.
