Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: This will make a big difference in the taste of your cookies. Look for butter, sugar, and flour that are all fresh and of good quality.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make your cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies at the right temperature: The temperature of your oven will also affect the way your cookies turn out. Be sure to preheat your oven to the correct temperature before baking the cookies.
  • Don't overbake the cookies: Overbaking the cookies will make them dry and crumbly. Bake the cookies just until they are set around the edges and the tops are just beginning to brown.

Conclusion:

With these tips in mind, you're sure to bake delicious cookies every time. So next time you're in the mood for a sweet treat, give this basic cookie mix a try. You won't be disappointed!
