Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: Chuck roast, rump roast, and brisket are all good choices for barbecued roast beef. These cuts are tough but flavorful and will benefit from the long cooking time.
  • Season the beef well: A good rub will help to flavor the beef and create a delicious crust. Use a combination of spices, herbs, and salt and pepper.
  • Cook the beef slowly and low: The best way to achieve tender, fall-apart roast beef is to cook it slowly and low. This can be done in a smoker, a slow cooker, or even a regular oven.
  • Let the beef rest before slicing: Once the beef is cooked, let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Barbecued roast beef is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. With a little planning and preparation, you can create a mouthwatering meal that your friends and family will love. So fire up the grill or smoker and get cooking!
