1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp dry mustard
2 Tbsp vinegar (i used apple cider)
3 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp sugar

  • 1. Split 6 hotdogs lengthwise. Place in greased 9x13" Pan.
  • 2. Melt 2 Tbsp. shortening, add onion, simmer till tender. Then add: paprika, dry mustard, vinegar, worcestershire, pepper, sugar and ketchup. Simmer for 2 minutes . Pour over hot dogs and cook at 400* for 20 minutes.

Tips:

  • Choose the right hot dogs: Use high-quality hot dogs that are made with good-quality meat and have a nice snap to them.
  • Grill your hot dogs over medium heat: This will help to prevent them from burning and will allow them to cook evenly.
  • Turn your hot dogs frequently: This will help to ensure that they cook evenly and that they don't stick to the grill.
  • Don't overcook your hot dogs: Hot dogs are best when they are cooked just until they are heated through. If you overcook them, they will become tough and dry.
  • Use a variety of toppings: There are endless possibilities when it comes to toppings for hot dogs. Some popular options include ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, and sauerkraut.
