....mmmm, good! You'd think they were barbecued wieners you'd grilled outside, instead baked in the oven. Add this with my favorite Potato Celery Supreme dish, and green beans on the side and you have a meal!

Tips:

  • Choose the right sausages: Opt for high-quality sausages made with fresh, flavorful meat. Look for varieties that are fully cooked, as these will cook more evenly on the grill.
  • Prepare the sausages properly: Before grilling, pat the sausages dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help them brown more evenly.
  • Preheat your grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat before adding the sausages. This will help create a nice sear on the outside of the sausages, while keeping the inside juicy.
  • Grill the sausages in batches: If you are grilling a large number of sausages, cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding the grill. This will ensure that each sausage cooks evenly.
  • Turn the sausages regularly: Use tongs to turn the sausages every few minutes to ensure even cooking. This will also prevent them from sticking to the grill grates.
  • Cook the sausages to the proper internal temperature: Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the sausages. They are fully cooked when they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  • Let the sausages rest before serving: Once the sausages are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the sausages, resulting in a more flavorful and juicy bite.
