BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP CUPCAKES WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
I was inspired by a few different banana cupcake recipes before settling on this one. The cream cheese frosting is probably my favorite part; it's just wonderfully decadent on a banana cupcake. Refrigerate cupcakes after frosting. P.S. They taste much better the next day!

Tips:
- For the best results, use ripe bananas. Overripe bananas will give your cupcakes a more intense banana flavor.
- If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of regular milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
- Be sure to cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the batter, making your cupcakes light and airy.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in tough, dense cupcakes.
- Bake the cupcakes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Overbaking will dry out the cupcakes.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting them. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
- If you don't have cream cheese frosting on hand, you can use a simple glaze made from powdered sugar and milk. Or try another type of frosting, such as chocolate ganache or whipped cream.
Conclusion:
These banana walnut cupcakes with cream cheese frosting are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. With their moist banana flavor, crunchy walnuts, and creamy frosting, these cupcakes are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give these cupcakes a try!
