Time 1h5m

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 box brownie mix (13x9 family size), plus oil & eggs per box recipe
1 box instant vanilla pudding (3.4 oz), plus ingredients per box recipe
1 qt fresh strawberries
1/2 bag(s) walnuts
4-5 large bananas
1 large container of Cool Whip, 8 oz.
chocolate syrup

Steps:

  • 1. Bake brownie mix as directed and let cool. I usually under cook my brownies just a little for a more chewy brownie.
  • 2. Make instant pudding and chill until brownies are cooled.
  • 3. Once brownies are cooled, slice the bananas right on top of the brownies until they have a nice layer all over.
  • 4. Pour the pudding on top of the bananas.
  • 5. Now, spread the Cool Whip on top of that.
  • 6. Slice up your strawberries and spread over the top. I chunk cut mine so you get a strawberry in every bite, lol.
  • 7. Now, sprinkle your walnuts all over and you're done. Keep refrigerated until time to eat. Refrigerate for several hours before cutting.
  • 8. Sometimes I drizzle some chocolate syrup over the top too. If I'm really craving chocolaty goodness.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your cake will be.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy: This will help to incorporate air into the batter, making your cake light and airy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition: This will help to prevent the batter from curdling.
  • Fold in the dry ingredients gradually: This will help to prevent the batter from becoming tough.
  • Do not overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the cake tough.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This will ensure that the cake is cooked through.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting: This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.

Conclusion:

The banana split brownie cake is a delicious and decadent dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With its rich chocolate flavor, sweet banana filling, and creamy frosting, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you are looking for a special dessert to make, give the banana split brownie cake a try. You won't be disappointed.
