Tips:

  • Opt for overripe bananas: Overripe bananas add natural sweetness and moisture to the muffins, reducing the need for refined sugar.
  • Measure flour correctly: To avoid dense muffins, use the spoon and level method to measure flour. Scoop flour into a measuring cup with a spoon and level it off with a knife.
  • Do not overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can result in tough muffins. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Fill the muffin cups properly: Fill the muffin cups about 2/3 full to prevent overflowing during baking.
  • Substitute ingredients as per dietary preferences: Feel free to use gluten-free flour or almond flour instead of all-purpose flour. You can also replace sugar with coconut sugar or honey.
  • Add your favorite mix-ins: Enhance the muffins with your favorite add-ins like nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit.
