3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup half-and-half cream or 1 cup milk
4 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 cups sliced bananas
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup cold butter

Steps:

  • Set oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 13" x 9" baking pan.
  • Cream 3/4 cup butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, beating well.

1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/3 cups bananas, ripe and mashed
2 tablespoons instant coffee granules, mixed with
1 tablespoon hot water
3 tablespoons buttermilk

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350.
  • Grease and flour 9 1/2 x 4 inch tube pan.
  • Stir chopped chocolate, brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon in small bowl.
  • Stir till blended, set aside.

1/2 cup butter, softened
1-1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 to 3 medium)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
TOPPING:
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
