Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: Small red potatoes, such as fingerling or baby potatoes, work best for this recipe. They have a thin skin that crisps up nicely in the oven and a creamy interior that pairs well with the balsamic glaze.
  • Cut the potatoes evenly: This will help them cook evenly in the oven. If the potatoes are cut into different sizes, some pieces may be overcooked while others are still undercooked.
  • Toss the potatoes with the balsamic vinegar mixture before roasting: This will help the potatoes absorb the flavor of the vinegar and create a crispy outer layer. Be sure to coat the potatoes evenly with the mixture.
  • Roast the potatoes at a high temperature: This will help them crisp up and caramelize. Roast the potatoes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
  • Serve the potatoes immediately: Balsamic roasted red potatoes are best served hot out of the oven. They can be served as a side dish or as a main course with a salad or roasted vegetables.

Conclusion:

Balsamic roasted red potatoes are a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. They are crispy, flavorful, and sure to please everyone at the table.
