4 C apples
2 C pears
2 tsp lemon juice

1/4 tsp nutmeg

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare oatmeal topping. In a medium bowl combine brown sugar, oatmeal, flour and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until only small pieces remain. Set aside.

2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons five spice powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
4 tablespoons crystallized ginger, finely minced
Oat Crisp Topping, recipe follows
6 (6-ounce) cobbler dishes
4 ounces mascarpone cream
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
4 1/2 ounces cold butter, unsalted
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
