Number Of Ingredients 12

1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon paprika
4 kaiser rolls, split
4 slices mozzarella cheese
4 pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil, large enough to wrap finished sandwich

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
  • drain.
  • stir in the tomato sauce; ketchup, Parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder and oregano.

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
3 tablespoons butter, melted
