Tips:

  • Choose the freshest salmon fillets possible. Look for fillets that are firm and have a bright pink color. Avoid fillets that are slimy or have a grayish tint.
  • Use a good quality Dijon mustard. Not all Dijon mustards are created equal. Look for a mustard that is made with whole grain mustard seeds and has a sharp, tangy flavor.
  • Don't overcook the salmon. Salmon is a delicate fish that can easily be overcooked. Cook it until it is just cooked through, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the salmon with your favorite sides. Roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple green salad are all great options.

Conclusion:

Baked salmon fillets with Dijon mustard is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The salmon is moist and flaky, and the Dijon mustard sauce is tangy and flavorful. This dish is sure to please everyone at your table.
